76 Jun 21 Reply Thanks for your help Ian. I did do it wrong as you hinted. I went back last weekend with the polarizer and tried it again. I didn't turn the ring enough to get rid of the reflection.
The problem was that I was just tuned into the flower and did not pay enough attention to the background. Hopefully I won't make the same mistake again. 		Jun 11th
