Hi Judith, This is a nice exercise in composition, particularly leading lines. The bright upper left corner distracts. I cropped the image a bit and slightly darkened the corners. The crack in the curb is compositionally important and also gives a feeling of degradation with age. The crack's jagged line from nature's weathering contrasts with the man's straight grate lines. Hi Lauren, I think the image is quite nice. The bud and blossom are completely in focus while the background is suitably soft. The diagonal composition flows nicely and provides an implied movement like a wave. Olympus has always been known for its excellent macro gear. This image proves it. Karl |

Hi Hanoch, I can hear the relaxing Musak but it's interrupted and divided by a very brief Rap. I guess you have to like this sort of thing. It doesn't tell me a story. It appears to be a juxtaposition of elements for the sake of juxtapositioning them but not to create added meaning. Karl |
