Gerard, The color is an interesting variation with a different narrative. I like it. Karl |

Hi Lauren, For a focus stacked image, the nearest petals are a bit soft.
When applying effects like clarity and vibrance/saturation, consider which parts need it. Should the effect be overall or just selected areas. For this image, perhaps using clarity and vibrance just on the foreground blossom would help separate it from the background. Reducing the highlights in the background down to 200 on the histogram would make the main blossom 'pop' more. Maybe a bit more breathing space to include all of the small green foreground leaves would help the scene. It's a beautiful flower and would be a good addition to any garden.
A neighbor's lenten roses have spread to my garden and I've been dealing with their downward faces. To avoid picking them, I agree that the camera must be downhill from the flowers. The flower season is starting here and I love it.

Hi Freddie, Great ICM! By inverting the figure, she seems to be pushing at the (glass) ceiling. The motion blur conveys energy and direction, particularly from the trailing foot. The grain doesn't bother me having worked with 2475 recording film in the dance studio 'back in the days ...'. In fact, the grain serves an artistic effect. Excellent work. Karl |

Hi Gerard, The light table gives a luminous feel to the items. I agree with Judith that maintaining the paper texture background would make it more interesting OR print it on Moab Unryu paper. A very creative idea for an original abstract. Any orientation can work with a composition like this. Karl |

Hi Judith, The image has been taken to abstraction. Initially, I thought 'waterfall' or 'spillway' with lots of spray. To portray a tunnel, cropping out the top section above '1976' yields a better tunnel effect. The blurred lines give a sense of movement. Tunnels are visually compelling. Applause for the artistic effort. Karl
