Hi Lauren, The OM1 shines again with great depth of field and color. Slight brightening of the blossom in the front would help it be the lead into the scene with possibly a little darkening of the background to give a better 3 dimensional view. a 10% gray gradient in the upper left corner would control that area better. Or perhaps some appropriate Chinese characters or your chop mark there. Karl |

Hi Mariann, I missed the Saturn part and see only a chunk of lens flare. There are several stars in the image and one of them may be the planet. The scene itself is quite nice. I agree with Gerard's comments about the silhouette reeds and tranquil mood. Your processing did a good job of bringing out detail in the moon and reflection highlights. Karl |

Hi Gerard, The processing collapses a 3 dimensional scene into a detailed 2 dimensional collection of sharp shapes and lines. Very original and well performed. There's plenty of composition lines and shape contrasts (e.g. round topped, rectangular windows, and peaked top panels) to keep a viewer's interest for quite awhile. An excellent achievement that I can look at many times. Karl |

Hi Peter, I see somewhat exaggerated colors and lots of sparkle. It's like a greeting card front panel and would be great for that purpose. Karl |

Hi Judith, I like keeping the straw but making it dark which might just involve reducing the straw highlights. As Gerard points out, the straw does help echo the metal shapes. It's an interesting old machine part that appears to be damaged and was thrown out. Generally for olde things I like a more noir interpretation. Karl |
