Maybe darkness is a state of mind. I see more festive colors now. A simple conversion to photojournalistic b&w could change the mood.

Hi Freddie, What interesting raw material for post processing play! I couldn't resist. Other than their size difference, I had trouble seeing a man and woman here. Instead, they are two people in a twilight zone gallery. I like the 'evil eye' in the background and chose to emphasize it a bit. I agree with Gerard that the smaller figure needs more space to walk. Since I'm in a left-to-right mood this morning, I flipped the image horizontally and added space to the right. The result is two figures under a watching eye (or hole in the universe) that is so much bigger than them. Karl |

Hi Gerard, The result looks like a metallic tongue and chaos. The graphic contrast emphasizes the textures and certainly makes the chaos more so.
As composed, the eye wants to start in the chaos and run up the tongue. Flipping the image horizontally allows the waterfall tongue to spill into chaos. Two possible interpretations. Karl |

Hi Judith, The composition and color are beautiful. Too bad about the wind. The beetle has a soft look which gives the impression that it is placed on the petal, not naturally resting there. Keep at it. If you can get the insect sharper (less wind?) while contrasting it with the softer petals out of the focus plane, the image could be quite dramatic. Karl |
